Lincoln Registers June Sales Increase

Earlier this month, Lincoln released news that the company had earned its 17th consecutive month of increased sales when June retail sales grew 11.3 percent as compared with June 2016's performance. Through the six months of 2017, Lincoln retail sales have increased 8.9 percent over June 2016.

June's performance can be credited to continuing customer demand for SUVs, as the Lincoln MKC gained 15.8 percent on sales of 2,304 vehicles. Sales of the Lincoln MKT jumped sales 10.8 percent for June, the Lincoln Navigator realized a 6.3 percent gain and the Lincoln MKX nudged sales up 0.4 percent. For the month, total Lincoln SUV sales grew 7.3 percent compared to last June.

For the first half of the year, sales of Lincoln SUV are up 1.4 percent with the Lincoln MKC growing sales by 11.2 percent and the Lincoln MKX delivering a 2.7 percent improvement.

The all-new 2018 Lincoln Navigator, which is powered by a 3.5-liter engine that's paired with a 10-speed transmission, will be delivered to dealers later this year.
