Autotrader reviewed the 2017 Lincoln Continental in April, noting that the all-new sedan extends a challenge to the likes of Audi, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz and Cadillac.

Featuring luxurious details throughout, the brand's flagship sedan delivers a quiet, powerful drive that has more than a hint of sportiness about it. The standard 3.7-liter V6 engine pumps out 305 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, and there are two optional engines available. The 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged V6 makes 335 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque, while the 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 produces an invigorating 400 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque.

You can choose from three trim levels for the 2017 Lincoln Continental, with each progressively adding amenities to its predecessor: Premier, Select and Reserve. Standard features offered for all trims include a customizable instrument cluster, an 8-inch touchscreen, SYNC 3 infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, push-button transmission, Continuously Controlled Dampening (CCD) suspension, Active Noise Cancellation and more.

Because Lincoln considers your safety to be of paramount importance, standard safety measures include driver knee airbag, front side-impact and side curtain airbags, SOS post-crash alert system and a rear camera. Available safety options include autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert and assist system, inflatable rear seat safety belts, front and rear parking sensors and parking assist.
