Lincoln Motor Company introduced the 2018 Lincoln Navigator at the New York International Auto Show in April, presenting an elegant all-new version of the family-friendly SUV.

The 2018 Lincoln Navigator's features a chrome grille and turbine-style wheels that were originally exhibited on the Lincoln Navigator concept that was introduced at last year's show. Loaded with innovative lighting treatments, the Lincoln Navigator boasts a Lincoln star logo in the grille that glows as you approach, just one part of a welcoming sequence that includes puddle lights and illuminated tail lights. The adaptive headlights modify their light pattern based on the vehicle's speed, radiating wider beams of light at low speeds and narrower ones at high speeds in order to reduce reflected glare. Inside, ambient lighting bathes all three rows of seats.

The 2018 Lincoln Navigator is lighter than the previous model and propelled by a 3.5-liter twin turbo V6 engine that is expected to produce 450 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque.

The 2018 Lincoln Navigator includes a host of technology features for the entire family, like a configurable 12-inch instrument cluster and a SYNC 3 infotainment system that is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible. An available rear-seat entertainment system can display separate programs on the screens, and the front-seat passenger is able to monitor and control the content through the SYNC AppLink. Everyone in the SUV can stay connected to the outside world, thanks to standard W-Fi that as many as 10 mobile devices can connect to.

In a release, Kumar Galhotra, president, The Lincoln Motor Company, declared, “Quiet luxury is both a look and a feeling. The all-new Navigator embodies both. The sleek styling, spacious interior and technology are all designed to make each trip effortless.”
