In the hustle and bustle of the city, it can be easy to forget where our food comes from, much less have time to cook a meal from scratch. It becomes habit to simply buy something pre-made from the grocery store.

Chef Ian Knaue hopes to change that, or at least get people to slow down every once and awhile and reconnect with their food, and their friends and family. He co-founded the Farm Cooking School in New Jersey, where Lincoln paid a visit on its MKX Road Trip.

The school is situated on a working farm, and students get to see fresh vegetables harvested from the earth, and learn to make sumptuous meals starting with these raw ingredients. According to Knaue, it's about knowing where your food comes from, getting back into the garden, and being able to draw family around the dinner table.

Knaue would fit right in at Lincoln. Our new vehicles are made with the finest ingredients, all with names, and a place of origin to trace them back to.

Forget generic "wood trim." Indulge in the natural beauty of open-pore Chilean maple, or Ziricote, both available on select Lincoln MKX models. Tired of over-processed, plastic-feeling leather seats that are stamped to look like cowhide? Try slipping into the driver's seat of a new Lincoln, surrounded by Bridge of Weir™ Deepsoft unembossed leather, tanned organically without chromium.
