Jazmine Sullivan developed a passion for music from a young age, and landed a record deal when she was just a teenager. Somewhere along the way, however, music lost its "fun." But after a bout of retirement, Jazmine is back and better than ever. A Lincoln Now piece called "Sharing the Beat" has the scoop.

"That could have been the end of her story as an artist if music weren’t intrinsically linked to who Jazmine is as a person," it reads. "It therefore came as no surprise to her fans when she resurfaced from retirement with the release of her critically acclaimed 2015 album. In taking some time away, Jazmine had rediscovered the power of music and uncovered a new story she had to tell." The full piece is embedded above.

At Rountree Lincoln, located at 8770 Business Park Drive in Shreveport, it would be our pleasure to set you up with a new Lincoln. We'll even let you pump up the jams during your test drive so you can get "back to the music" yourself.
